Hashish is produced practically everywhere in and around Afghanistan. The best kinds of Hash originate from the Northern provinces between Hindu Kush and the Russian border (Balkh, Mazar-i-Sharif).
The plants which are used for Hash production are very small and bushy Indicas. In Afghanistan Hashish is pressed by hand after the addition of a small quantity of tea or water. The Hashish is worked on until it becomes highly elastic and has a strong aromatic smell. In Afghanistan the product is stored in the form of Hash-Balls (because a round ball has the least contact with air), however, before being shipped, the Hash is pressed in 100g slabs. Good qualities of Afghani are signed with the stem of the producing family.

This was VERY comparable to the hash I used to get in the late 70s/early 80s. REAL hash, none of that crap cut with sheep feces. Well done MJN. I will order this ONLY for special occasions. Like a fine wine or cheese, this is not for binging. This stuff is for the connoisseur. Younger folks might not appreciate the subtleties in texture and taste as much as us old hippies. The buzz begins quite slowly and I was disappointed at first, but by the time I got to this review I was well buzzed. Very mellow and gentle buzz too.

Lasted a really long time. Just mixed a little in with some buds and it gave me a much more mellow high. I didn’t enjoy the taste, it was quite harsh, but still well worth the money.

Always hear the old hippies talking about “gold stamp hash” back in their day being their smoke of choice.
I’m not too sure if this is what they mean but if it is I can see what all the fuss is about.
Taste and smell are amazing, high was super mellow and not overpowering. Great smoke for special occasions. Will definitely be saving some for the next time I have company over.

Haven’t smoked hash in a while, grabbed an eighth for old times sake and I gotta say hash technology has advanced greatly since my high school days. This stuff is soft, smells amazing, burns perfect, and 2 little zips and I feel phenomenal. Well worth a try.
