THC & CBD OIL not included in Canada’s legalization plan

The date is set for October 17th, 2018, both law makers and citizens are scrambling to make sense of which products will be sold. One Canadian dispensary allowing people to – buy weed online, has made a box full of cannabis products available for medical marijuana clients. This box is full of products NOT available for purchase come October.

The intention is to get medicinal patients the help they need while they still are able to. Because, omitted from Canada’s legislation plan are highly-concentrated products with THC and/or CBD Oil. The typical user with epilepsy requires 2 grams of weed to deal with seizures, a time consuming and very large amount of flower to smoke. Many other conditions such as chronic pain, anxiety relief, and cancer treatment, also require a much larger than usual intake of cannabis to feel the benefits.

CBD oil & THC are properties of Cannabis, while CBD can be found in its sister plant Hemp, both of the resulting compounds have been well documented to ease a variety of conditions.

CBD oil for anxiety

cbd oil for anxiety, research on cannabis products has looked at the use of marijuana rather than at CBD oil as a standalone product.

Some studies have found that cannabis might help anxiety. Others suggest that having anxiety is a risk factor for recreational marijuana use, or that using marijuana can make a person more vulnerable to anxiety.

People interested in managing their anxiety with CBD oil should look exclusively at research on cannabidiol, not generalized studies of medical marijuana. Although there are fewer studies on cannabidiol specifically, the preliminary research is promising.

THC benefits

Inflammation is the primary benefit, it is an underlying factor that contributes to or complicates a wide range of diseases, which means tetrahydrocannabinol has a role to play in treating all of them.

From autoimmune diseases to neuro-degenerative disorders like multiple sclerosis to depression, cannabis has demonstrated its potency as a therapeutic treatment.

The package available includes the following: Phoenix Tears which can provide a full daily dosage of CBD & THC in a grain of rice sized drop. As well as other high concentrate alternatives such as Diamond distillate, and Shatter Master shatter for patients with different preferences. This offer also includes Herbivore edible gummies which have been measured to deliver the exact milligram requirements patients require. Lastly, a Platinum vape pen which can be taken on-the-go and consumed whenever necessary.

The products included in this package WILL NOT be sold by the Canadian government according to bill C-45, ommiting some of Cannabis’s most innovative and popular products leaves a significant segment of the Cannabis market unaccounted for. Leaving many new and alternative methods of cannabis consumption on the sideline, in favour of strains (hybrid, indica and sativa) could be a disaster come October.

While it may be surprising so many popular products have been exempt from Canada’s legalization plan, patients are unsure if the new legalized market for recreational cannabis will be the solution they had been hoping for.

Time will tell how Prime Minister Trudeau executes his vision, and over the coming years which products will become available.

“Hopefully everyone can get what they need, and in the long-term recreational legalization will be fantastic, but out the gate, it doesn’t look like it” – President, MJNExpress.
